There’s even more to be excited about because filming began for The Night Agent season three in 2024. That means it could be just around the corner!

According to Deadline, filming for season three has been ongoing in Istanbul since the end of 2024, with a New York shoot set for 2025. While season two of The Night Agent premiered much later than expected due to the writers’ strikes, this is unlikely to happen again, and we can expect a season three in early 2026. Wahoo!

Season three is going to be ‘insane’

Gabriel Basso, who plays Peter Sutherland, has already described the third season as “insane” in an interview with GamesRadar. He also revealed that he did some stunts he “can’t believe Netflix signed off on.” It sounds like it’s going to be a wild one!

“If I’m ranking the three seasons in their openings, this is our strongest opening of all seasons,” Basso told GamesRadar. The suspense is already killing me.

A certain favourite character will be making a return

via Netflix

In very exciting news, a character who didn’t make it into season two has been confirmed by the creator as returning for season three. She made a very sneaky cameo in the season two finale, but Chelsea will in fact be coming back.

The show creator, Shawn Ryan, confirmed the news to Deadline, explaining: “I don’t view this the way that a lot of TV shows operate in that I think characters come and go and then come back to the show, depending on what the storyline for that season is.

“An example I would give you is that we really love the character of Chelsea in season one, who was played by Fola Evans-Akingbola.” What brilliant news!
