It’s I’m A Celeb season, so here’s the 2024 cast ranked by how much chaos they’ll cause
I know Coleen Rooney’s not coming to play
I’m A Celeb season is nearly upon us, and a new group of hopeful celebrities will enter the jungle on Sunday. I’m A Celeb has made for some great TV throughout the years, with some of the biggest controversies I can remember. From Lady C to Joey Essex, the casting really has been from all corners of the UK. So, here is a ranking of the I’m A Celeb 2024 cast based on the chaos they’re likely to cause in camp.
12. Danny Jones
Danny Jones, McFly singer, is notoriously low-key. I think he’ll bring a calming presence to camp, and create the least amount of drama between the campmates. He loves a bit of calming energy: “I’m quite patient, I’m quite placid. I’m quite chilled, I like it calm, I like putting music on, I like it smelling nice, I like a bath in the evening.” No beef here!
11. Alan Halsall
Despite starring in messy Coronation Street, Alan Halsall will also be a chilled addition to the jungle. He did say that he’ll miss “being in Corrie” while on the show, but he’s just there to have fun and let people get to know the man behind Tyrone Dobbs.
10. Melvin Odoom
Most Read
Melvin Odoom was a CBBC presenter for Dick and Dom in da Bungalow in the 2000s, and he’s been a regular on BBC Radio 1 since 2019. I don’t think he’ll intentionally cause any drama, but he did say he’s worried about snoring too loudly and waking up his fellow contestants. They can argue while he’s sleeping!
9. Barry McGuigan
Barry McGuigan is a legendary retired boxer and sure to bring a bit of chaos into the jungle. Maybe he’ll follow in former boxer Amir Khan’s footsteps and steal the sweet treat for himself!
8. Dean McCullough
Dean McCullough is sure to bring drama after he told ITV he was “petrified of everything.” I can see him coming back with no stars and making everyone mad and hangry at him.
7. Oti Mabuse
I think Oti will bring the drama but in a great way. She seems so fun and bubbly and she’ll definitely be one of the camp’s favourites. This might mean she’s pulled into drama where she doesn’t want to be!
6. Reverend Richard Coles
Reverend Richard Coles is a rumoured surprise contestant, but if he makes it on he’s sure to bring the drama levels up. He’s a writer, broadcaster, radio presenter and priest – what can’t this man do?!
5. Jane Moore
You just know Loose Women’s Jane Moore is going to be up in everyone’s business asking a million questions, and good for her tbh. She’s already promised she’ll be asking everyone questions in “an organic way.” She’s going in for the tea!
4. GK Barry
GK Barry has been at the centre of a bit of controversy recently, so there’s a high chance she’ll bring some of that into the jungle too. I think she’ll be one of those contestants that a lot of viewers didn’t know a lot about before coming on the show, but end up loving after. We’ll soon find out!
3. Tulisa Contostavlos
Despite having many past controversies, Tulisa told ITV she doesn’t want to “draw attention” to herself in the jungle and has been avoiding the spotlight out of “irrational fear” at the moment. I won’t lie, I’m kind of rooting for her to thrive.
2. Maura Higgins
Maura Higgins is only a rumoured surprise contestant, but if she makes it into the jungle I know she’ll cause chaos. You can’t go on Love Island and not bring the drama – I don’t make the rules!
1. Coleen Rooney
Coleen Rooney is by far going to be the most chaotic cast member, and I’m SO here for it. She’s already worried about snoring, but if Wagatha Christie taught me anything it’s that she lives for the drama and she’s super savvy. What a series this is going to be!
