It’s the night that everyone’s been waiting for: The Love Island 2024 final! After Joey Essex and Jessy Potts’s shock dumping from the Island in last night’s show, couples Mimii and Josh, Jess and Ayo, Matilda and Sean, and Nicole and Ciaran have been officially named as the finalists of Love Island 2024.
Over the last eight weeks, the Islanders have endured tense recouplings, envy and tears. From relentless grafting to gruelling breakups, from dancing the night away to Jess Glynne to getting dumped from the Island, it’s been a wild rollercoaster of love, lust and jealousy for this year’s contestants. After being cooped up in that villa, 2024 Love Islanders on a night out is something I can’t wait to see.
Whilst the Love Island villa over on the sunny Balearic Island of Majorca might seem a world away from your favourite nightclubs and post-night out takeaways here in rainy Britain, have you ever wondered what each of the iconic 2024 Love Islanders would do on a night out? Let’s take a look at each Islander’s typical behaviour when hitting the club for a night of dancing, drinking, and flirting.
After all, just like you, the vibey Islanders are no strangers to a good party. Here’s exactly how all the 2024 Love Islanders would be on a night out.
Sean

On a night out, it’s no surprise that the villa’s resident “Candyman”, Sean, would prioritise the “sugar rush” over merely getting tipsy on alcohol.
Before hitting the club for a night of sweet, sweet partying, Sean would most likely be found sipping on a candy-inspired cocktail, like a gummy bear spritz, at a psychedelic bar as colourful as the lollipops that he sells.
His uncanny ability to liken his fellow Islanders to beloved retro candies from decades past would last all night. In the club and between every song I can picture Sean imagining up a new sweet to allocate to each of the Islanders, or scratching his head inventing a brand new sweet flavour in the corner of the club while everyone else is on the dance floor or at the bar taking shots. Despite his affinity for sweets, he’s not particularly fond of bubblegum pop, but he would go wild if Christina Aguilera’s brass-laden hit Candyman were to ever blast from the nightclub’s speakers.
And of course, Sean’s choice of post-night out takeaway would satisfy his sweet tooth. He would probably skip the typical pizza, chips and kebabs for a jar of sherbet lemons, humbugs or flying saucers.
After all, he’s the sweet-talkin’, sugar-coated Candyman!
Matilda

It’s no surprise that Matilda would be one of the most fun Islanders to hang out with at pres.
Instead of bringing out the traditional drinking games like beer pong or Ring of Fire that are done to death, Matilda would ensure that everybody is entertained by performing puppet shows with her feet. Matilda’s go-to outfit for partying the night away would comprise of a classy midi dress paired with stylish block heels or wedges, and a few treasured pieces of understated jewellery.
On the night out, Matilda would be the “mum friend” of the group. If Harriet or Uma take one too many shots, Matilda would be right by their side, offering them a shoulder to lean on (literally). If someone’s lost their phone on a night out, she would order them an Uber so that they could get home safely. If Nicole and Ciaran were to break up in the club, Matilda would accompany her to a toilet cubicle to let the tears out and remind her how beautiful she is.
It’s safe to say that the kindness and thoughtfulness of the villa’s Beckenham bombshell transcends the island of Majorca and shines everywhere Matilda goes.

Welsh rugby lad Ciaran would be one of the rowdier 2024 Love Islanders on a night out, having a get together with all of the guys and pre somewhere fun and interactive, like Roxy Ball Room due to his affinity for ball games. Mimii and the girls would be there too, singing away in the karaoke booth.
On a proper night out, Ciaran would probably behave in a manner that is typical of rugby lads hitting the club for a good time. After downing beer as a result of bouncing ping pong balls into plastic cups all evening, you would most likely find Ciaran with his mates at the Bierkeller.
His choice of post-night out takeaway would be an extra large pizza, shared out between the rest of the rugby lads, and a large portion of chips smothered in sauce.
Nicole

As a professional dancer, it’s no surprise at all that Nicole would be the first to take to the dance floor on a night out. She’d defo be the most chaos 2024 Love Islanders on a night out, but she’d be fun.
It doesn’t matter where the night out is taking place. If it’s a nightclub, Nicole would be right in the middle of the crowd, wowing everyone with her incredible moves and uncanny sense of rhythm. She’s probably going to request songs to the DJ that she has danced to in world championships, so that she can challenge to a dance-off any club-goers daring enough to take her on. Nicole would be up out of her seat even in mellower joints like BrewDog, dancing between the tables, or even dancing on top of seats should the venue allow it.
To replenish her energy, Nicole would want to treat herself to a portion of chips and a burger after dancing the night away, but she would inevitably end up losing her bank card after dancing so energetically.
And she’d still be no closer to finding out who Emma is.
Jessy

Blonde bombshell Jessy would bring carnivalesque fun and crimson sparkle to any night out, embodying the very definition of “painting the town red”. Her choice of outfit for a night of partying downtown would most likely comprise of a bedazzled red bodycon dress, to match her blonde tresses, and a pair of the tallest sparkly stiletto heels you’ve ever seen – if she can balance on stilts, she can easily balance in stilettos.
Like Matilda, Jessy would prove very entertaining at pres. She’d emerge from the doorway dressed head to toe in red sequins, gliding across the room on stilts. Once at the club, Jessy would head straight for the bar to get grafting.
Her choice of post-night out takeaway would be something classy, like an understated kebab with extra salad and fries.
Joey

As a TV personality who has enjoyed fame for years prior to entering the villa, Joey would undoubtedly win the award for the loudest in the group on a night out due to his charismatic persona. Before hitting the club, you would most likely find Joey pre-drinking at a popular bar in town – he’d definitely be too good for Be At One. Surrounded by his best mates, Joey would have ditched the Islanders but be totally unfazed by the flashes of cameras all around him. He’d definitely be the most recognisable 2024 Love Islander on a night out.
Even though Joey appears to be partial to a dip in the hot tub, that’s not where you’ll usually find him on a night out. Instead, he’d probably be pulling up to the liveliest club in the region in that one car with the E55EX number plate in his music video. More specifically, he’d be hitting that one club infamous for its chaotic 2010s remixes, and he’d be requesting his song to the DJ at the earliest opportunity.
Whatever he orders after a night out, it’s gotta be reem. At the takeaway, Joey would order the largest pizza and largest portion of chips possible, and share them with all of his best mates (if he hasn’t lost them all after his wild night out). So reem.
Mimii

When she’s not busy hiding from Ayo on the terrace of the villa, you would most likely find Mimii at a bougie karaoke bar downtown, singing her heart out to Vanessa Carlton and delivering a showstopping performance just like the one that she treated the Islanders to at the talent show.
In fact, Mimii would be that one regular at the karaoke bar who signs up to sing the same song every week (A Thousand Miles, obviously), who amazes everyone each and every time she’s on the mic, and garners lots of clapping and cheering from the audience.
When out clubbing with her gal pals, Mimii would dazzle in a daring corset and miniskirt. Her choice of takeaway afterwards would be a McPlant burger with extra lettuce and a decaffeinated takeaway tea, so that she stays hydrated and takes care of her singing voice.
After all, we’d walk a thousand miles if we could just hear Mimii sing again, tonight.
Josh

On a night out, Josh would be the sensible one of the group. Like Matilda, he would always be looking out for the Islanders in the club, and staying by their side in times of trouble.
As a club-goer, Josh’s favourite place to pre-drink would be Vodka Revolution, and his favourite nightclubs would play classic singalong tunes that bring everyone together, as well as up and coming gems from indie bands.
Josh’s choice of post night-out takeaway would probably be something simple, like a parmo and chips.

As the newest addition to the Love Island Band as its flautist (existing members include Millie on keyboard and Indiyah on recorder), Ayo doesn’t have a lot of time to go clubbing.
However, when he’s not “rehearsing” with the band, you’d most likely find Ayo in a bar or club that contains its own photobooth. Yes, those ones that take multiple snaps and prints them out for you. As a model, Ayo would be donning his sunnies in the club, and capturing all of his best angles in the photobooth.
For his post-night out takeaway, Ayo would fancy something as healthy as possible for the occasion, opting for a Big Mac with extra lettuce and something simple and understated to drink, like sparkling water.

On a night out, vivacious Jessica would undoubtedly be the life of the party.
The Casa Amor bombshell would most likely be found at a bougie bar, surrounded by her gal pals, sipping a classy cocktail as vibey music plays in the background. As a fashion stylist, her choice of outfit for the night would consist of the trendiest mini dress, paired with strappy heeled sandals in a solid block colour.
As she’s a stylish gal, Jessica would head to an elegant lounge or a club that radiates feminine energy, for a glamorous night out of dancing and sipping more cocktails with her favourite girls. She’d get stuck in the toilet asking everyone where their outfit’s from.

Glamorous Islander Grace would opt for a sleek white dress and her long blonde locks flowing down her back for an elegant night out on the town. As an influencer and reality star, both her beauty and fame would draw the attention of cameras as she paints the town red.
On a night out, the Manchester beauty would most likely be found in an upmarket bar, lounge, or nightclub, sharing cocktails with her gal pals. Somewhere like Sexy Fish would do just nicely.

Football lad Reuben’s typical behaviour on a night out would be reminiscent of a sports team getting together to celebrate after a winning match, much like Ciaran the rugby lad and his rugby team. His pre-drinking would consist of messy beer pong, before heading out on the town for a night at the lively nightclub. Popworld would do.
Reuben’s takeaway would probably be a burger or kebab and chips with a small side salad, and a can of Coke and he would likely wake up with a sore head the morning after.

Feisty yet sweet Brighton beauty Harriett would most likely be found at a bougie lounge, dressed in a figure-hugging outfit, a cocktail in hand. Like Jessica, she prefers her nights out elegant and classy.
Harriett and the girls would pre-drink at the lounge before heading off to a vibey club popular with the young women of the local area. She would take loads of photos without getting shy and she’d look absolutely fire.

On a night out, Uma is a loyal friend. She’s dependable and reliable, like Matilda and Josh, offering a shoulder to lean on (or cry on!) if the night doesn’t quite go as smoothly as planned. Calm and collected, I can imagine that Uma would never leave any of the girls alone in the club.
Her choice of post-night out takeaway would be something simple and sensible, like a Subway. And she wouldn’t drop a single bite.

Wil from Whitley Bay would head off to a bar and restaurant with Uma and the Islanders to begin the night, before hitting Revolution De Cuba for a night of socialising. Unlike the stereotypical Geordie, Wil would be the 2024 Love Islander on a night out who would take it slow whilst showing the Islanders round the Toon, but he’d inevitably get sucked into Bijoux and get hammered.
After leaving the club, he would be found searching for a 24hr Greggs until he gives up and goes home to get a frozen sausage roll out the freezer.

Headstrong Jess wouldn’t be afraid to be loud and bold on a night out. She’d be heading to an upmarket bar or lounge for pre-drinks with the girls before taking charge of deciding which nightclub to head to afterwards. Her choice of outfit for the night would be a figure-hugging dress in a vibrant colour, like hot pink.
Once in the club, Jess would head straight to the bar for her favourite drink, the Island girls in tow. She would never be afraid to take charge on a night out, and the takeaway that she would share with the girls once the night is over would be an extra large KFC bucket that she’d share with mates and subsequently drop in the taxi home.

On a night out, Ronnie would most likely be found in the local Spoons drinking beer with his mates and he probably wouldn’t even make it out after. He’d ditch the loud music and sweaty VIP section for a pint and bag of crisps at the local boozer.

For pre-drinks, you would most likely find Hugo at the Greene King pub with some of the Islanders, a simple beer in hand. As Hugo prefers his nights out simple and understated, he’ll head to the club afterwards for a short while but leave early to cook some scran at home.
