Taking the lead for Amazon’s much awaited and much acclaimed TV adaptation of the video game series Fallout is Ella Purnell, who is an absolute star in the driving seat of the show as Lucy Maclean. As soon as she comes on screen, Ella Purnell and Lucy as a character just feel instantly iconic. You might have seen her in a few things before, but here’s all you need to know about Ella Purnell before she became huge starring in Fallout on Amazon.

Despite Lucy being from California, she’s actually British

Ella Purnell was born in Whitechapel and grew up in Bethnal Green – where she trained at Sylvia Young as a kid and was always performing. She got her first few roles when she was a kid. She now lives in LA, which I’m sure helped with the accent she needs for Fallout!
