One brave Nottingham student has left the fate of his eyebrows and the colour of his hair up to his friends.
Scott posted the ultimatum on his Yubl profile with the question: Shave my eyebrows or dye my hair purple?
The ‘I would for a grand’ competition is being run by Yubl, the new social messaging app, taking the UK by storm.
Yubl has asked students to submit their most daring claims in return for £1,000 to go towards a huge end of year blowout.

The competition has been open since Sunday and has had countless entries from across the country, as students compete for the prize.
Over the last week Yubl have received entries like stripping off on campus to downing an entire bottle of Tabasco.
Not only are people sending in their weird and wonderful entries but they’re getting their friends to vote for them as well.
