Rhys, a bold Newcastle student, has made the outrageous claim he will surf on top of the Metro for £1,000.
The claim was suggested in the ‘I would for a grand’ competition run by Yubl, the new social messaging app, taking the UK by storm.
If Rhys gets the most votes on his entry, he will receive £1,000 to go towards a huge end of year blowout.

The ‘I would for a grand’ competition has been open since Sunday and has had countless entries from students across the country.
Over the last week Yubl have received entries like stripping off on campus to downing an entire bottle of Tabasco.
Not only are people sending in their weird and wonderful entries but they’re getting their friends to vote for them as well.
