Manchester’s hockey clubs are battling it out in an attempt to win £1,000 for a huge end of year social.
Both groups have entered the ‘I would for a grand’ competition run by Yubl, the new social messaging app, taking the UK by storm.
One set of hockey boys has promised to release their 2017 charity calendar, while the other has invited fellow students to join them for a night of mystery at 76 Egerton Road.

Not only are people sending in their weird and wonderful entries but they’re getting their friends to vote for them as well.
