British version of Spring Break to launch in Amsterdam this April

On the 3rd April 2016 Spring Break festival launches in the heart of Amsterdam with an incredible line up.
The newest festival hitting Europe’s party hotspot features headliners Blonde, My Nu Leng and Tough Love, as well as events hosted by Eton Messy and Black Butter Records.
Event organiser Nathan Reed reveals the inspiration behind the festival is to re-define the overused American term ‘Spring Break’ into something original, appealing and relevant to British students.
Nathan said: “The American idea of ‘Spring Break’ is a pretty horrific cliche.
“This is a middle finger to that American culture because we’re taking some of the most credible acts in the UK scene and putting them into one of the coolest and culturally rich settings in the world.”

Nathan said: “We wanted re-invent Spring Break as a ‘metro festival’ by using the super clubs of central Amsterdam.
“It’s important to us that our guests can completely immerse themselves in the city while enjoying all the acts…this gives it all a nice synergy.
“We knew it was going to be popular when over 10,000 people registered this year, but with under 3,000 places on the trip people need to act quickly to secure their place with a £50 deposit.”

Running from the 3rd April 2016 to the 6th April 2016, Spring Break Amsterdam provides the perfect pre-exam blow out before the start of final semester.
By day, the festival offers boutique events and intimate DJs right in the heart of the scenic city and by night the super-clubs of Amsterdam open their doors to shows by the festival’s unstoppable headliners.
DJ trio Felon – Archie Ward, George Renwick and James Lenvey – will be performing in April.
They said: “The clubs in Amsterdam are next level and the line-up is pretty special for 2016 so we’re psyched to hit Spring Break…not to mention Amsterdam itself is really beautiful.”
Bella Eckert, a Newcastle grad attending the festival said: “Spring Break is amazing value – it’s less expensive than most British festivals and it includes travel and accommodation.
“I’ve never been to Amsterdam and the lineup is outrageous, so can’t wait”.
