#ReclaimTheseStreets Vigil to be held outside the Minster tomorrow in York

In solidarity with many others taking place across the country

A Reclaim These Streets Vigil for Sarah Everard and “everyone else who is made to feel unsafe” is taking place outside York Minster on Saturday 13th March, at 6pm.

“These streets are ours and violence has no place in them.”

Organisers of Reclaim These Streets are awaiting results from the London court case to confirm if the vigil can go ahead, but if not they are planning a backup virtual event instead.

This is in response to the vigil originally organised in Clapham, and with many others now taking place across the country.

It is described as “a vigil for all people threatened by violence on our streets.”

More details are to be announced on how to show solidarity virtually if you cannot attend the vigil in person.
