Missing York student sparks urgent Police appeal

Lydia WattA major Police investigation is underway following an urgent appeal to find missing student, Ethan Peters.
An underwater team has begun their search of a stretch of the River Foss as the search continues for the 20-year-old student who has gone missing in York.

Peters has been described as slim, 1.75 meters tall, with dark brown hair. “He was last seen wearing glasses, jeans or chinos, a black jacket and a navy blue polo shirt.”
According to North Yorkshire Police, “The last confirmed sighting of Mr Peters was at 11.55pm on Coney Street, York on Sunday 2 October.” He is understood to live in the Hull Road area.
North Yorkshire Police have asked people who have seen anyone matching his description to come forward with information by calling 101, quoting incident number 12160180683.
