Good times: UEA top for student experience

Survey praises all aspects of life on campus. Something to make the hours of revision seem worth their while

It’s official: We’re living in student paradise!

Undergrads at UEA enjoy the best overall student experience of any university in the country. Good times.

We wouldn’t want to be anywhere else

A survey by Times Higher Education shows we beat Oxford (who came second) and Cambridge and Sheffield (joint third) to take the title.

The survey asks over 12,000 students to rate the quality of lectures, staff, social life and accommodation at their universities.

Last year UEA ranked sixth overall, but this year our close-knit campus community and small group teaching has seen our great institution rocket to the top of the chart.

UEA pro-vice-chancellor Prof Nigel Norris said: “Our commitment to providing a gold-plated student experience is long-standing and ingrained.

“It began long before the concept became central to universities up and down the land, and has been rewarded by a consistent top 10 ranking in the National Student Survey.

“This latest endorsement has been made possible only by the hard work and creativity of our academics, support staff and, of course, the students themselves who never cease to inspire us.”

The Top Ten universities for student experience are:

2. Oxford
