UCL ranks 10th in The Guardian 2018 university league tables

Can’t even see King’s from up here

UCL has been ranked as the joint tenth best university in the UK in The Guardian 2018 university league tables, having moved up four places since last year.

Cambridge, Oxford and St Andrews have the top three slots, while King’s is way down at 39th.

UCL comes in fifth for career after six months (employability), seventh for spend per student and tenth for value-added score, which looks at effectiveness of teaching by comparing students’ individual degree results with their entry qualifications. Satisfaction scores for courses, teaching and feedback are considerably lower.

UCL places in the top ten in twenty subject areas, including first in Art, second in Forensic Science and Archaeology, and third in both Classics and Ancient History and Architecture.
