Three men in hospital after Queensferry Street stabbing

At least one of them is said to have suffered serious injuries

The emergency services were called to Edinburgh's West End at around 03:45 on Sunday morning after reports of violence on Queensferry Street, near La Vida nightclub.

Following the reported stabbing, three men, aged 26, 31 and 32, were treated by the Scottish Ambulance Service at the scene, before being brought to the Royal Infirmary for further treatment. Though a Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed that "the full extent of their injuries are not known at this time", it has been said that "at least one of the men has suffered serious injuries".

Police have arrested a 32 year-old man in connection with the attack.

A police cordon on Queensferry Street between Shandwick Place and Melville Street is still in place this morning. Police urge anyone with further information on the incident to come forward.
