Best known for her roles as Zuri Ross in Disney Channel’s show Jessie, Skai was arrested on 8th August at Universal Studios in California after police officers were called to deal with an alleged altercation.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, CCTV footage was reviewed and showed Jackson allegedly pushing her boyfriend. She was subsequently arrested on misdemeanour domestic battery charges, cited, and released within a few hours after posting a $20,000 bail.

The sheriff’s department noted that no weapons were involved in the incident, and the alleged victim, Jackson’s boyfriend, had no visible injuries and did not cooperate with the prosecutors.

Urging for charges to be dropped against the actor, the representative for Skai said: “[She] is relieved that the investigation clarified this was a misunderstanding.

“We appreciate the swift decision by the DA to drop all charges, and Skai is eager to move forward.”

Skai has not commented further on the incident or her current relationship status.
