If you loved The Gentlemen, you should watch these TV shows and films next
And where to watch them!
If you’ve already streamed your way through the entirety of Netflix’s new Guy Ritchie series The Gentlemen, you’ll probably be feeling a loss of how to spend your evenings right now. After that absolutely chaos ending final episode, we’re all still reeling from Eddie’s sudden U-turn decision. So, what the hell do we all do now?
Well, in case you’re staring at the Netflix homepage in horror and uncertainty over what to actually invest your time in, here are the series and films you should stream right if you loved The Gentlemen, which definitely won’t dissapoint:
Gangs of London
It’s a no brainer to suggest Gangs of London in this list. Power struggles, international gangs, a powerful crime family assasination— tbh, I’m surprised Guy Ritchie didn’t actually write this himself. Watch on Prime Video.
Mr. & Mrs. Smith
Murder, betrayal, really great outfits: If you haven’t already, go watch Childish Gambino show off his acting skills in Mr & Mrs Smith. This eight episode drama has been a welcome distraction from the winter blues, and if your loyalty to the 2005 movie is what’s stopping you from watching this, don’t worry – the series takes on a shocking story line of its own. Watch on Prime Video.
Animal Kingdom
Much like Eddie in The Gentlemen, Animal Kingdom follows a man who’s drawn into his families criminal activities after the death of his mother. Plus there’s six seasons, so this should keep you going for a while. Watch on Prime Video.
Brassic
Most Read
Crime, chaos, Joseph Gilgun and Michelle Keegan— are you sold yet? Brassic is Sky’s most successful comedy series ever and follows a group of guys who’ve schemed and conned their way through their youth – but now adulthood is catching up on them. Watch on Sky/Hulu.
Good Girls
Good Girls has got to easily be the most streamable show on this list. Three mums turn to a life of crime to make ends meet when their lives take an unexpected turn. Soon, they’re embroiled in drug wars, shoots out and robberies. Watch on Netflix.
Snatch
It wouldn’t be a reliable list of recommendations if we didn’t include another chunk of the Guy Ritchie universe. So, obviously, you should stream his 2000 film Snatch, starring Brad Pitt, Jason Statham and Stephen Graham. Expect a humungous diamond heist set in the criminal underbelly of London. Stream on Netflix.
