Ariana Madix has been booked and busy since the last season of The Vanderpump Rules and Scandoval drama.

In case you missed it, Ariana Madix found out last March that her boyfriend of nine years, Tom Sandoval, had been cheating on her with her friend Rachel ‘Raquel’ Leviss for six whole months. TMZ broke the story after filming wrapped up on the Bravo reality show. Obviously, the drama, which was dubbed Scandoval, got production to spring back into action. No telly executive worth their salt would let a storyline like that go to waste.

The Vanderpump Rules, which follows the staff at Lisa Vanderpump’s Sexy Unique Restaurant, has had its fair share of infidelity plots since its 2013 debut. Despite this, not one of them captured the imagination quite like this one. As more and more allegations came to light, Ariana proved herself the winner of public opinion. How can you not when it’s claimed your other half had had sex with your pal in the house you own together WHILE you are in the house? It would be difficult not to come out on morally top after that dirty laundry gets aired…

Along with bartending at SUR, failed beauty ventures and a cocktail recipe book in collaboration with Tom, Ariana supplemented her income by being a jobbing actress across Los Angeles. Obviously, the clip made its debut during their show’s season finale.

On a much less glamorous note, Ariana agreed to do Instagram posts hawking Purina Tidy Cats Lightweight Litter and hot pink GLAD bin bags, among other smelly spon con. The joy of having 2.2 million followers!

Following this, she snagged the go-to booking of anyone trying to revive or rejuvenate their career when it was announced she would be a contestant on last year’s Dancing With the Stars. Her time on the show ended when she placed third on December 4 alongside her professional partner, Pasha Pashkov.

From the theatre of The Vanderpump Rules to an actual Broadway theatre

However, Ariana was back again with another development on her CV when she said that she would be taking on the role of Roxie Hart in the Broadway production of Chicago. Yes, the John Kander and Fred Ebb musical is all about women who have been accused of murdering their useless boyfriends and husbands. Her debut in the role earlier this week followed in the footsteps of other Bravo stars like The Real Housewives of Beverly Hill’s Erika Girardi. She did the part pre-pandemic.

While appearing on Live With Kelly and Mark, Ariana told hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos: “It is just the biggest dream come true. I can’t believe this is real life. I’m going to cry.”

The Broadway stint has inspired Ariana to be everywhere even more with appearances on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. She has also been taking her live show Single AF across the country, which features guests like the comedian Matt Rodgers and the TikTok star Rod Thill.
