It’s confirmed! Holly’s This Morning return date and co-host announced after Phillip saga

After the entire Phillip Schofield controversy and fiasco back in May, it’s all been completely up in the air at This Morning. Holly Willoughby, who fronted the show with Phillip for years, has been off on her annual summer break since July and everyone’s been wondering when she will be back and who’s going to fill the seat on the sofa. Well, ITV have confirmed when Holly Willoughby will return to This Morning, who’s going to be with her and you won’t have long to wait if gagging for her back is your sort of thing.

When will Holly Willoughby return to This Morning?

Holly is set to come back from her summer break on Monday – which means that today is the last episode of This Morning without her. She’ll be back on Monday with Alison Hammond, and the return was teased at the end of today’s episode as relief host Andi Peters teased “On Monday, it’s double trouble as Alison and Holly return.”

Alison Hammond, Dermot O’Leary, Rochelle Humes, Andi Peters, Craig Doyle, Josie Gibson, and Steve Jones have all fronted the show over the last few weeks.

ITV has also released some new promos for This Morning, including the first ever Holly solo one which confirms she’s single-handedly leading the show going forward.

Rumours about Phillip are saying he’s in discussion to rebound from This Morning with a big book deal, where he’ll write in detail about his time on This Morning, friendship with Holly and dramatic exit from the show in the scandal back in May.
