Adults and its incredible cast are FINALLY back on our screens, bringing us more drama, more laughs, and more messy, messy relationships.

Written by Ben Kronengold and Rebecca Shaw, Adults is a raunchy comedy about a bunch of 20-somethings in Queens, New York City. The core group – comprised of Samir, Billie, Paul Baker, Issa, and Anton – navigate important milestones for any young adult, like sleeping with your childhood teacher, befriending a stabber, and helping a teenager get an abortion. You know, really average, normal experiences.

Season two is now available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu, so here’s everything we know about the real-life relationships of the Adults cast.

Owen Thiele is basically married at this point

Like his character Anton, Owen Thiele is out and proud as a gay man in real life. Unlike his character, however, he’s pretty locked down in a serious relationship.

Owen has been dating celebrity stylist Jared Ellner for nearly 12 years. Jared is massive in the industry, rivalling the likes of Law Roach with clients like Emma Chamberlain, Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Lizzy McAlpine, Phoebe Bridgers, Rachel Sennott, Troye Sivan, and SZA. He’s worked with enormous publications such as Vogue, RollingStone, Vanity Fair, and W Magazine, and brands like Lancôme, L’Oréal, and Levi’s.

Lucy Freyer

Lucy Freyer, who plays Billie, is incredibly private about her dating life. She doesn’t appear to be dating anyone, but she did sleep with Charlie Cox on the show in season one, so she’s basically winning.

Amita Rao

Amita Rao is chaos incarnate as Issa in Adults, and though her character is incredibly h*rny like all the time, she’s a bit more lowkey in the real world. It’s not clear if she’s dating anyone, though Twitter seems to think she’s queer.

Malik Elassal

Again, not a lot is known about Malik Elassal’s dating life or what his sexuality is. It’s annoying that their real lives aren’t as messy as the shows, but we can’t have everything.

Jack Innanen is, to put it lightly, a beautiful man with millions of followers on TikTok. I know about a million people who would LOVE to date him, but sadly, there’s only one woman who got that honour: TikToker Lauren Cantrell.

They were connected for the first time in 2024, and though no breakup was announced, people have speculated about a potential split. Before Lauren, he dated another influencer called Alex during the pandemic years.

One of the best things about Adults season one was the guest stars, so of course there are many more in season two.

The most marketed is definitely Isaac Cole Powell, a stupidly hot actor you might recognise from Ryan Murphy projects like American Horror Story and The Beauty. We all know Ryan loves a fittie. Isaac is gay in real life, and was engaged to fellow Broadway actor Wesley Taylor for a time. They split up, and he’s since been dating Tate Justus.

Stranger Things’ Gaten Matarazzo is also in season two, but he’s not single in real life. The actor has been dating actress Elizabeth Yu since 2018, and they’re uber cute.

Finally, we’ve got the iconic Raven-Symoné, who is married to Miranda Maday.
