Phoebe Bridgers and Paul Mescal have apparently split up, and I’m absolutely heartbroken

Everyone’s favourite gorgeous, gorgeous couple, Phoebe Bridgers and Paul Mescal, have reportedly split up. 

The pair have apparently called off their engagement, and to make matters worse, Bo Burnham is somehow mixed up in all of this. It’s a big old mess, basically. 

An anonymous source told Insta celeb gossip account DeuxMoi the “engagement is off,” specifically after Paul himself broke up with Phoebe.

According to Jezebel, the relationship first started going south after Phoebe met Bo Burnham, and the pair are now supposedly dating. The Mirror reported them being “spotted on a date” in NYC two nights ago (19th December). 

DeuxMoi’s source told the outlet: “Can confirm the engagement is off between Paul Mescal and Phoebe Bridgers. It’s not an open relationship in the slightest. Paul found out about Phoebe and Bo and called off the engagement.”

A reporter for Jezebel went to the same one-woman show Phoebe and Bo did, and described the atmosphere between them as “flirtatious, like he was trying to impress her.” They’ve also been seen at a bar together, as well as allegedly “making out… and cuddling” around Los Angeles. A recent photo from a 1975 concert showed Matty Healy kissing Phoebe while Bo watched on – and Paul was nowhere to be seen.

Paul only recently confirmed his engagement in an interview for The Guardian a month ago (November 2022). The pair met in 2020, and made things red-carpet-official in 2021.

The Tab has contacted Paul Mescal and Phoebe Bridgers’ representatives for comment.
