17 reactions that prove we’re all feeling the same watching Night Stalker on Netflix

Ok, the nightmares are real

Netflix has just released a four-part series about serial killer Richard Ramirez and it’s safe to say we are all petrified. When Night Stalker: The Hunt for a Serial Killer was first released, initial reviews and reactions described how gory it was and called it “terrifying” and the “best true crime ever”.

Now, as more and more of us watch it, the consensus online is pretty much the same across the board. This is one of the scariest real life stories we’ve ever come across, and a lot of us can’t sleep at night. Ramirez was 24 when he terrorised the streets of Los Angeles and San Francisco for just over a year before he was hunted down. His victims were men, women and children and they ranged in age from six to 82.

Never before in criminal history had a single killer been responsible for such a grisly array of crimes. The media was all over the case and horror and panic struck the area. Ramirez was dubbed the “Night Stalker” as most of the crimes took place as victims slept. He was finally convicted in 1989, charged with 13 murders, five attempted murders, 11 sexual assaults and 14 burglaries. He was sentenced to 19 life sentences and ruled to die by gas chamber.

Here are just a few of the reactions to the Night Stalker documentary series which sum up how we are all feeling about it.
