After the death of George Floyd in Minnesota last week, Black Lives Matter protests have erupted around America, and across the world.

Yesterday, demonstrations occurred in Birmingham, protesting the systematic discrimination and racism towards black communities globally.

Protests took place on Thursday from 4pm at Victoria Square, starting outside the library and moving through the city to the police’s headquarters.
