Revealed: The top unis giving out firsts like candy

Anna PaulinsThe universities who give out the most firsts have been revealed.
Last year, Imperial College London topped the table giving out 1060 first class degrees, meaning just over 40 per cent of their undergrad degrees were firsts. They were followed by UCL and Durham.
Bournemouth finished the table awarding only 725 first class degrees coming to 20.92 per cent of their undergraduates. Hull and Oxford Brookes came a close second and third at 22.26 per cent and 22.74 per cent respectively.
The universities differ by 19.77 per cent in the amount of firsts awarded.
