Dani and Jack won Love Island with 80 per cent of the public vote

For the whole series they were most popular

Last night saw Jack and Dani crowned as the winners of Love Island 2018.

In statistics released by ITV, the nation's new favourite couple won the show by a complete landslide – gaining 79.66 per cent of the votes in the final.

Laura and Paul followed with 8.43 per cent, then Kaz and Josh with 6.05 per cent who narrowly beat Megan and Wes who had 5.86 per cent of the votes.

Jack and Dani were consistently the top couple, never failing to top public votes throughout the entire series. They consistently had between 40 and 60 per cent of the votes when the public had to vote for their favourite pairings.

Yep, no couple ever proved more popular than the duo.
