Right, so why exactly did Lacey and Nathan break up following MAFS UK 2024?

Gosh, it’s all kicking off between Lacey and Nathan during the MAFS UK 2024 reunion tonight isn’t it?

Having said that, pairing two people who probably aren’t each others biggest fans into a room together is always going to cause considerable fireworks.

And whilst the reunion touches on it a little bit, let’s have a look at why exactly Lacey and Nathan split after MAFS UK 2024.

It was first reported the pair had split back in April after it ended up “fizzling” out between them despite them “trying” to make it work after leaving the show.

Nathan then told Yahoo UK exactly how the split affected him, and claimed Lacey was the one to ends things between then.

He revealed: “I have a lot of respect and care for Lacey. We both wanted different things.

“I went on the show to find love, and sometimes things don’t work out, but everything happens for a reason, and I’m so grateful for the time we shared together.

“Whilst I was hugely disappointed by the break up, and heartbroken, I respected her decision to part ways and I have nothing but love and good wishes for her.

“I wouldn’t have changed anything on the show, and despite what happened behind the scenes, I would still have chosen Lacey to be my bride, and I have nothing but respect and love for her.”

She told The Sun: “I genuinely didn’t think he would do this to me. What we had was so real and special.

“Nathan always used to say to me, ‘oh, this is the relationship I’ve always wanted’, in terms of always laughing together, always dancing together. I could be my full self and he could be his, and I accepted him for him.”

Lacey said she initially suggested they could be just friends, and hoped this would make Nathan realise it was a mistake to break up. She has claimed the opposite happened, and he then went cold on her.

She described filming for the current MAFS UK reunion with him, and said she struggled to be in the same room as him.

Nathan then admitted in another interview with The Sun that things were “very different” between them after the show had finished.

He revealed: “Things weren’t the same off the show, it was very different.

“I’d always have to go there, she wouldn’t come to see me – those kind of arguments. I’m not too sure, things were quite different after the show.

“When you’re together, you’re 100 per cent in the same place. But after the experiment there was a big distance there.”
