Molly-Mae slams claims split from Tommy Fury was a ‘publicity stunt’ for her documentary
She’s ‘frustrated’ by the constant accusations
Ever since Molly-Mae announced the release date for her upcoming documentary, she’s been plagued with constant accusations that the split between herself and Tommy Fury was actually all a “publicity stunt.”
But it’s clear Molly-Mae has had enough as she’s now clapped back at the accusations against her and Tommy Fury, saying it’s so “frustrating” to constantly hear about the “publicity stunt” accusations ahead of her documentary.
She responded to the claims, explaining: “I think that for me, above everything, has been the most frustrating part, because I actually say in the documentary, ‘I wish it was a publicity stunt’ because it’d be a lot easier.
“Because going through all of this with the turmoil of a break-up has been incredibly hard, to have those comments, and I do see the comments, I see all of them.
“People say, ‘Oh, this has obviously just been done for long term brand or a publicity stunt’, that is very painful because it’s real life.”
She continued: “Tommy and I have a baby together, and it’s very, very real, and it’s a really hard thing that we’ve both gone through the last six months.
“I wish it wasn’t, because it would have been a lot easier, but it isn’t.”
Molly-Mae also touched upon what the documentary will cover, including more on her relationship and split from Tommy Fury.
She added: “I think this documentary will clear up any impressions of that, you see the real side to it, it’s kind of like you’re a fly on the wall.
“And like I say, I think people are going to be quite, not shocked, but I think they’ll be quite surprised by how honest we’ve been.”
