Molly-Mae’s getting dragged for her bizarrely savage Nosferatu review and I’m obsessed

She is my own personal Empire magazine

If there’s one person who you can always count on for completely not getting it right regarding their film opinions, it’s Molly-Mae Hague. Molly-Mae and her film reviews have become stuff of legend for me, and what makes it even better is it’s always great films that me and the rest of the film critics on planet earth adored. At first, Molly-Mae and her horrid film reviews used to wind me up but now I absolutely adore them – like a comforting little blanket of laughs to bring every film snob back to earth a bit. The latest offending review is Molly-Mae giving her review on the critically acclaimed new horror from Robert Eggers – Nosferatu. The review keeps being sent to me, so naturally I need to share it here too.

Self proclaimed horror obsessive Molly-Mae went to watch Nosferatu recently, and despite the film getting rave reviews it did not go down so well with our queen. “I went to the cinema last night guys and I went to see a horror, and I was really upset because it had Lily-Rose Depp in it who I’m obsessed with, I think she’s absolutely stunning and it was really bad. I really, really didn’t enjoy it.

“It was called Nosferatu, interesting name. It was all about vampires, and like, Dracula – and I had no idea that’s what it was about I just saw horror and was like right we’re going. It was… a literal two out of 10. Which was really sad, because it also doesn’t take a lot to impress me with a film I’ll watch anything.

“I always get this weird fascination with any film that I watch the next day I love to go on YouTube and watch interviews with the cast members and see how they are in real life. I would say I’m a big film fanatic. One of my passions is films. Going to the cinema is actually one of my favourite things to do because I love finding good films. Especially horrors.”

Let’s just bin all the critical acclaim right now because the only critic that matters has spoken!
