‘I’m afraid of helicopters, but I’m not afraid of the amount of money they’d pay me’
It turns out GK Barry predicted what she’d be like on I’m A Celeb three entire years before becoming a campmate. And if even half of what she says comes true, we’re in for some good drama from her.
GK Barry, real name Grace Keeling, posted a TikTok in 2021 in which she said people had said she should do the jungle. Then she went on to say what she’d bring to the show, including a showmance and overcoming her fears.
“Ladies and gents buckle in, I’ve had someone tag me in a video saying they wanted to see me in I’m A Celeb – and let me tell you why I know I’d be brilliant on that show,” she said. “We’d have a showmance. I’d get with someone on the show, I’m really not picky. Twig up the bum, no harm done. I’d do the deed in the jungle.”

She then went on to list her fears, some of which we’ve already seen her face on the show. GK Barry said she’s scared of helicopters, planes and heights. But she added: “I’m not afraid of the amount of money they would pay me to do it, so I would do a run and jump out of that helicopter.” It’s been reported she’s getting a massive £150k for the jungle.
She also said she’s “lived in a uni house” before, so the state of the jungle toilet wouldn’t faze her. “Being a student, rice and beans is a five star meal for me,” she added. “It makes a change from pesto pasta.” She also said she’d enjoy the jungle as a chance to get a tan. “I’m in the jungle, I’m in the blistering heat,” GK Barry said.
