GK Barry was born as Grace Eleanore Keeling, on August 12th 1999 in Cambridge. She grew up with her brother, mum and stepdad in Soham. Aged two, it’s been reported Grace moved to the British Virgin Islands, before returning aged eight.

On her TikTok, Grace has shared a bunch of old pictures of herself from around the time she was at school. She called them her “Tumblr days” when she “thought she was Effy from Skins.” Honestly girl, same.

She’s now 25, and thriving.

Before fame, she went to uni in Nottingham

GK Barry is a grad, before fame attending Nottingham Trent uni. She studied film, and then got a Master’s in digital marketing. GK Barry shared her first TikTok video whilst at uni. It was a video of her miming along to a Gemma Collins clip from Big Brother, and she herself has said it was a massive flop.

After graduating from her Master’s, Grace returned to her job at Costa but quit after less than year, before signing to a talent agency. Back in the day she posted videos that were just as funny, she just looked totally different. Her hair used to be darker, and her look was definitely less polished.

Now, GK Barry is a huge name with 3.7million TikTok followers and her own podcast

Having been around as an internet personality since 2020, GK Barry is a household name for Gen-Z. Her first viral video came five months after the first one she made. It was her narrating a man running past her window, and it got a million views overnight.

She now has 3.7million followers on TikTok, and every video is a hit. She launched her podcast, Saving Grace, in 2022 which has become hugely successful. According to Cosmo, Saving Grace has 740,000 monthly listeners. It records weekly from a studio in Hackney, and now clips from it get millions of views.
