The Wonder has dropped on Netflix, and the mystery period film has shot straight into the top 10 of the Netflix chart. And with a cast this good, there’s no surprises there. Of course, Florence Pugh is at the helm – but she’s not the only clockable name in the cast. Here’s everywhere you recognise the cast from in the new Netflix mystery thriller The Wonder.

Where do you recognise The Wonder cast from?

Florence Pugh as Lib Wright

I mean, it’s Florence bloody Pugh! Where don’t you recognise her from would be the real question! Florence plays the lead as Lib Wright in The Wonder. She’s known for her breakthrough role in Lady Macbeth, but that was just the start. Midsommar, Little Women, Fighting With My Family, Black Widow and the much maligned Don’t Worry Darling all stat The Pugh.

Niamh Algar as Kitty O’Donnell

Niamh Algar plays Kitty O’Donnell, the family’s servant. Niamh also bookends the film with the intro and outro in the fourth-wall breaking studio scenes.

Niamh has previously starred in Deceit, The Bisexual and Raised By Wolves.

Elaine Cassidy as Rosaleen O’Donnell

Elaine Cassidy plays Rosaleen, and her real life daughter plays Anna – Rosaleen’s daughter and the titular “wonder”. Elaine has starred in Harper’s Island, The Ghost Squad, The Paradise and A Discovery of Witches.

Toby Jones as Dr McBrearty

Toby Jones plays Dr McBrearty – one of the panel of men from the town that summon Lib and Sister Michael to the town.

Toby is one of the most familiar faces in the cast of The Wonder. He’s been in Doctor Who, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom, Wayward Pines and Sherlock. He also voiced Dobby in the Harry Potter films? Random!

Ciarán Hinds as Father Thaddeus

And finally, we have Ciarán Hinds – an actor who elevates every film he ever stars in to new heights. Not to be a fangirl, he just really is that good. He’s known for Harry Potter, Belfast, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Frozen, Justice League, The Terror, The Woan in Black and Game of Thrones!
