Guys, Kelly from Bling Empire is pregnant with her first baby!
Naturally, her announcement post was a paid partnership with a pregnancy test brand
Hayley SoenEveryone! Kelly Mi Li from Bling Empire on Netflix has announced she is pregnant with her first baby. She has opened up about expecting her first child with her boyfriend, and has said she is excited for this new chapter in her life.
Kelly, who is also an executive producer on Bling Empire, is currently living in a different city to her boyfriend, but she said despite the shock news, they had spoken about having children before.
“When we [her and her boyfriend] found out, it was actually kind of shocking,” she told People Magazine. “He lives in San Francisco, I live in L.A., so when my period didn’t come, the monthly visit didn’t come. So we went and got Clearblue, the pregnancy test.
“We talked about having kids earlier but we were going to start trying [at] the end of the year. So we actually bought a bunch of Clearblue ovulation tests before so I would start getting used to using it, but we just really didn’t think it was going to happen so fast because I’m a little worried because I just turned 37, so I wanted to take the ovulation test and just to get it into a monthly rhythm.”

If you’re wondering why Kelly has name-dropped Clearblue so much, her Instagram post announcing she’s pregnant is actually a paid partnership with the pregnancy test brand – very Bling Empire of her. “Well, the mystery to why I’ve been craving sweets and not just spicy food is finally solved! 😅 We’re so beyond grateful and excited to be starting this new chapter in our lives,” she said in the post.
In the last season of Bling Empire on Netflix, Kelly was single and was being set up on dates by friend, Kane Lim. She has said that it takes a while after filming for the show to be uploaded to Netflix, so when the episodes dropped she was actually celebrating her one year anniversary with her boyfriend.
“When we filmed the season, it takes a while to come out,” she told People. “So it’s funny when the season came out, we actually already celebrated our anniversary, our one year anniversary.”
She added: “My boyfriend is amazing. I literally cannot ask for a better partner in this. And obviously, I’ve to show off about him any chance I get. But he’s honestly so supportive, so amazing and I honestly, he’s going to be such a great dad and obviously my mom, my grandma, are going to be able to help me out a little bit more as well. And I have really great friends around me so I’m just very thankful for this journey.”
