So, there is a theory going around that Harry Styles is actually bald and it has sent TikTok into an absolute spiral. Since his start on The X Factor, Harry’s hair has been one of his trademarks, from his shaggy, messy do when he was auditioning in the show, to his perfectly styled tousled curls now that he’s a worldwide megastar – Harry’s fans simply can’t get enough of his hair.

But some people are now claiming his beautiful barnet is all a facade and he is actually bald and wears wigs. Whilst it’s most likely that Harry does, in fact, have a full head of hair, here’s everything you need to know about the rumours saying Harry Styles is actually bald.

Here’s where the TikTok rumours about Harry Styles being bald came from:

The theory that Harry is actually bald and wears a hairpiece originally started on TikTok. There are hundreds of videos on TikTok suggesting Harry wears wigs with many showing photographs that supposedly show his hair piece whilst he was performing during Harry Styles Love on Tour. The theory says Harry has been bald for years and uses such realistic toupees which no one has noticed until now.

The theory was originally posted on TikTok by the user Abigail Henry where she discusses the origins of the rumour. Abigail refers to a post that was anonymously shared to the celebrity gossip Instagram account Deuxmoi which claims a very well known musician is secretly bald and wears a hairpiece. Deuxmoi is well-known for posting unconfirmed celebrity rumours and its bio says: “this account does not claim any information published is based in fact”.

The post claimed: “This A list musician / occasional actor has a dirty little secret he hasn’t shared with fans. Literally! He has gone almost completely bald. His hairpiece is so lifelike that only a good eye could pick it out, and that’s on a bad day. However! He doesn’t take it off.” The post was not linked to Harry Styles but fans thought it could be about him.

Harry’s fans are for some reason absolutely convinced the Deuxmoi Instagram post is about Harry and since then, his fandom has gone down a hole trying to analyse whether he is bald or not. Many TikToks show fans zooming in on photos of his hairline and comparing photos of current Harry to his younger self trying to determine whether the is wearing a wig. Fans have been saying that if he was bald it would make it easier for Harry to go out in public and not be spotted, which they think could be a reason behind the theory.

Whilst there is no solid evidence to suggest Harry is bald, one thing’s for sure – Harry’s fans are still just as obsessed with him now as they were before the balding rumours.

More than a year since the conspiracy theory that Harry Styles is actually bald and wears wigs first circulated on TikTok, Harry has been pictured out and about actually bald. It seems all the amateur conspiracists amongst his fans may have actually been onto something.

Fans were devastated when indisputable proof of his baldness was posted by TMZ on TikTok. Grainy footage shows Harry at the Las Vegas Sphere for a U2 concert with his girlfriend, Taylor Russell, but his beautiful curls are no where in sight and instead he’s sporting a buzzcut. Has Harry really been bald this whole time as the TikTok theorists believe or has he just decided to go for a fresh look? We may never know.
