Meet Chloe: The 25-year-old Love Island 2021 star who’s already causing drama

Strap in, Love Island is back. The 2021 series has an newly made-over villa, and a whole bunch of Islanders who look like they have been in the gym for the last year straight – which let’s be real, they probably have been. One Love Island 2021 contestant who you’ve probably already heard a bit about is Chloe.

Chloe’s has been all over the tabloids in the past week or so, after her Love Island pre-villa interview went viral because she was talking about having a thing for a married men. I think we can all agree that this has meant she’s an Islander we will all be keeping an eye on this year.

Here’s the lowdown on Love Island 2021 cast member, Chloe Burrows.

Chloe is 25 and from Bicester

Chloe is a 25-year-old from Bicester, Oxfordshire. She says she’s been in some “awful” situationships recently and describes herself as funny, saying: “I’m always the funny one in a situation. I always try and make everyone laugh. Outgoing, I’m quite bubbly and always doing something.”

Before Love Island, Chloe was working as a financial marketing executive

Chloe has been working as a marketing specialist, with her job role being a financial marketing executive. She previously worked as a junior paraplanner.

She says she loves a bad boy, naturally

When asked her ideal type, Chloe essentially described a funny bad boy. She said: “I love a bad boy, someone that you would not bring home to your mum, just someone’s who’s a bit naughty. I just want someone fit and funny, that’s not too much to ask for is it?” Chloe then said her number one ick is if “someone’s too nice” as she says it “just puts me off”.

When asked what she looks for in a partner, Chloe said: “I like a good build. I go to the gym. I want someone who is funny. Really funny and caring and will do nice little things for you. And then obviously someone who you can depend on to not ditch you. Because I am quite a big character and quite loud, they would have to be as loud, if not more. I could never be with someone who is quiet. Someone that gives you a bit back.”

In her Love Island VT, Chloe made a comment about married men and it did not go down well, obviously

In an interview with ITV before the series, Chloe said despite the stereotype there aren’t a lot of fit guys in the city. She said: “You would really think there were fit men in the city but there really aren’t most of them are married or have girlfriends, I mean they’re off limits but they’re not really off limits.”

The clip also included her saying she is “partial to a married man” and admitting to “drunk calling” a man “most weekends” even though she’s aware he has a wife and children. After this, a tweet went viral of what seemed to be someone confirming that Chloe was their father’s PA and they had an “affair”. However, the tweet is no longer available and the account didn’t respond to request for comment from other news sites.

Chloe has since denied any affair claims, and says the comment was taken out of context. She told Digital Spy: “I didn’t have an affair. I think it’s been taken out of context. I met someone at work and obviously really got in my feels about them, thought they were absolutely fantastic. And then I found out he was married and had kids, and then I dumped him because I was like, ‘What the hell?’ So it wasn’t an affair. But yeah. That was what that was.”

Someone claiming to be the father of the person who tweeted told the Sun: “I’ve been single for six years, so the word ‘affair’ is just irrelevant. Chloe has actually been very professional in her marketing executive job and she has done a terrific job for us as a team of people.” Chloe also says she’s never been a PA, so it looks like the tweet was just an attempt to go viral, which on this occasion, worked.

She has 11,500 followers on Instagram

At time of publishing, Chloe has 11.5k followers on Instagram, but then by the time the show has finished she’ll probably be closer to the millions. Her feed is basically just a collection of selfies, and her on holiday. Classic. Her handle is @chloe__burrows.

Chloe revealed that she had a boob job before Love Island

It’s no secret that Islanders have surgery, and people make a lot of effort to be “villa ready”. Chloe has very openly discussed feeling so much more confident after she went from a 32A to a 32D. “I always wanted my boobs done, genuinely I just never had boobs”, she said. “If I put a bra on, it was a joke. Even the smallest of bras, at one point I was at university and 20 and I bought a 14-year-old’s bra from New Look because I needed a strapless one and there wasn’t any. I wouldn’t even say a 32A, and now I’m a 32D. I love them.”

Chloe thinks her family home is haunted?

Weird information, but Chloe and her family think that their home is haunted by a relative and they’ve seen him lurking around. She told Daily Star: “My uncle was really young when it happened – it was when he was aged about 10, so he wasn’t old enough to be drunk or anything. He woke up in the middle of the night and he saw a man walking around the house. This happened a couple of times. Then he told his mum and he described the man and she knew who he meant. And she showed him a picture and he recognised him.”
