Bling Empire net worths: This is how rich the Netflix show cast actually are

Netflix has just released Bling Empire – a reality series all about the wealthiest Asian socialites living it up in LA. This bunch have as much drama as the most shocking episodes of Selling Sunset and money to literally burn. So much so, that one of the cast members admitted they “didn’t know what to do” with the fee from Netflix for appearing on the show. I know you’re dying to know all the exact Bling Empire cast net worths, so here’s how rich they really are.

From self-made millionaires, influencers and real estate investors, to billionaire heirs and daughters of weapons traders. Yep, this show really has it all.

Here are the net worths of all the cast of Bling Empire on Netflix. Prepare to weep.

Kane Lim – $20million (£14.6million)

Whilst Kane Lim might be introduced onto the show as a billionaire and as owning shopping malls and his family money having come from oil, shipping, tanking and real estate, his personal net worth is $20million. Which is still very, very impressive. His over-the-top shoe collection is reportedly worth more than $365,000 alone.

He doesn’t just live off the family money either, Kane is a real estate developer and investor, and started his first business venture at the age of 17. He was able to pay back his parents, who gave him a loan to set it up, within just a couple of months. Kane was a millionaire by 20.

Anna Shay – $600million (£440million)

With a reported net worth of $600 million, queen Anna Shay is by far the richest cast member. She is an heiress – Anna’s father, Edward Shay, is in fact the late billionaire founder of Pacific Architects and Engineers, a defence contracting firm. On the show it says she is “super super wealthy” and that her money comes from weapons. “Her father sells bombs, guns, defence technology and is a worth a few billion”, adds Kane.

According to Oprah Mag, Anna is so rich she “didn’t know what to do” with the money she got from Netflix for being in the Bling Empire series. Oh, how the other half live.

Christine and Dr Gabriel Chiu – $80million (£58.7million)

Together, Christine and Dr Gabriel have created a pretty impressive net worth of $80million. He is literally the direct descent of the Song dynasty, an imperial dynasty of China that began in 960 and lasted until 1279.  If they were still in existence Gabriel’s father would be an emperor and he would be next in line.

But they’ve made their own money as well as the family money. Gabriel Chiu built and runs Beverly Hills Plastic Surgery, a clinic in Los Angeles. The doctor is a renowned celebrity plastic surgeon and specialises in reconstructive surgery. Christine is a Taiwanese heiress and is said to help out running the business.

Kelly Mi Li – $5million (£3.6million)

In Bling Empire, Kelly says she was married to a Chinese man in her 20s and had a very privileged life (the pair owned seven cars and four houses – in case you’re wondering). Until one day he was arrested for running one of the biggest cyber scams in American history. Kelly admits she barely even knew the man she was sleeping next to.

After this, she became an entrepreneur which helped her feel “me again” and “take power back”. She has produced TV shows and movies while in Los Angeles and is also a rising influencer with 100,000 Instagram followers. Her wealth is now all self-made.

Jaime Xie – $50million (£36.7million)

Jaime is the youngest member of the Bling Empire cast, aged 23. She explains that she quit college and wanted to be an Olympic horse rider but then realised she loved fashion more. Now she is on her way to becoming a name in fashion, working as a blogger and influencer. Her blogging career brings in around $50,000 a year, which she says doesn’t even cover her mega expensive rent – the monthly rent for her luxury penthouse apartment is reportedly $19,000.

But her dad is a billionaire after all, the family money comes from Silicon Valley and he is Ken Xie, a cybersecurity technology entrepreneur who founded a business with his brother. Most of her money is from a trust fund.

Kim Lee – $10million (£7.3million)

Kim Lee used to be a model, but is now a world-famous DJ. On the show she is described as “Asia’s Calvin Harris” and the  “number one hottest female in south east Asia”. She has worked with the likes of Steve Aoki, Diplo, and Cardi B. She’s a self-made millionaire, now estimated to be worth around $10million.

Guy Tang – $2million (£1.4million)

Guy Tang is a celebrity hair colourist, YouTuber and musician. Through his work as a hair stylist he has worked with celebs such as Mariah Carey. According to Racked, Guy is known for his intricate rainbow highlights, which can take upwards of 12 hours to create and cost over $1,000. He also has 2.1 million followers on his Instagram page. Guy is one of Bling Empire’s self-made millionaires.

Cherie Chan and Jessey Lee – $200million (£147million)

Cherie and Jessey are another couple in the Bling Empire cast, equally having built up impressive net worths together. In the show, Cherie is introduced as having previously been on her way to becoming a pop star in Japan. She is also heiress to a denim empire that her uncle runs. Jessey Lee owns a huge furniture empire, so together they have some serious bucks.

Kevin Kreider – $10million (£7.3million)

Model Kevin Kreider is the “everyman” of Bling Empire. Unlike his rich friends in the clique, he says he pays just $1,000 in rent for his room in a shared house. He’s meant to ground the show after being introduced into the wealthy group.

Having said all this, he’s still a millionaire – and richer than some of his co-stars. He was the focus in the 2019 documentary “The Ugly Model” and is the CEO of his own company in Los Angeles, Taejin Entertainment LLC. He also works as a coach, giving people advice on nutrition and fitness. Maybe he just doesn’t act rich rich, like the others.
