This is how to do the Vogue Cover Challenge that’s all over TikTok and Twitter

Ever wanted to be on the cover of a magazine? Well this new trend may be your only chance. When I say Vogue Challenge, you’re probably thinking of those TikToks where someone sits down and then the person behind them gets their legs out and it’s meant to be funny and as if you can’t tell there’s someone behind them. And you would be correct in thinking this. However there is now a whole new Vogue Challenge to take part in.

The recent Vogue Cover Challenge first started out on TikTok and is now being done on Twitter as well. The challenge is essentially creating a video or picture of you looking like you’re on the cover of Vogue. And the pictures are a whole vibe and now I’m quite upset Anna Wintour hasn’t considered putting me on a cover, but whatever.

Some people are doing the challenge as a way to show what representation could look like on magazine covers, others are doing it for purely aesthetic images and some are taking the piss by putting their cat on the cover – tbf he does look good.

You don’t even need to be a Photoshop expert to create your covers, you just need your phone.

This is how to do the Vogue Challenge:

1.Find the picture you wanna make the cover

Whether you’re going down the jokes or aesthetic angle, you just need to start by getting your picture from your camera roll or Instagram.

I picked this one from New Year’s Eve, as it’s the last time I properly dressed up thanks to lockdown.

2. Edit it

Right now you need to edit it and add the Vogue logo. To do this use an editing app such as PicsArt (other apps are available) or Photoshop.

On PicsArt in the sticker section there are loads of different colour Vogue logos you can add to your pics.

Crop them, filter, do whatever you want to make yourself feel like you’re on the cover of a magazine. Go crazy and even add some text to your cover – the world is your fashion oyster.

If you don’t want to make a TikTok with the photos you’re literally done, so save and post away on Instagram and Twitter.

3. TikTok

Right for making the TikTok, you’re going to need to create at least two covers, so go back to step two and repeat.

Ok now you need to  film a little clip of you doing something dull and ordinary aka not Vogue Cover worthy, I did a video of me drinking a cup of tea.

Then go onto TikTok and click on the upload and select your video and two Vogue covers and volia it will all be put together.
