  • Outside of journalism, Lucy loves running and reading. She spends her weekends in bookshops or out exploring, finding ideas for her next piece along the way.

Experience

Lucy joined The Tab in 2025, after being News Editor and then Editor-in-Chief of The Leeds Tab during her time as an undergraduate. She had stories picked up by local and national outlets whilst working as a student journalist, and also had a book review column at another Leeds magazine.

Education

In 2025, Lucy graduated with a BA Honours in English Literature with Creative Writing from the University of Leeds. She also completed an exchange year at Monash University in Melbourne, where she studied Australian and American literature.
