17-year-old streamer charged with the murder of two teenage girls he ‘stalked’
He ran them over with his Jeep
A 17-year-old TikToker from New Jersey has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder following the death of two teenage girls, Maria Niotis and Isabella Salas.
The suspect has been accused of intentionally running over the two girls with his Jeep on the 29th of September, in what was first assumed to be an accident. The families of the victims have strongly denied this claim.
Maria and Isabella were both riding their bikes when the incident took place. The teenage boy was detained right after the crash, and police described it as an “e-bike accident”. But he has now been officially charged with their murder.
In a statement to Fox, the families of the victims said: “It is now vital that the truth be shared: this was not an e-bike accident, and it was not a hit-and-run. This was murder in the first degree.”

The suspect has a large following on TikTok, with over 40,000 followers. Days after the alleged murder, he went live on YouTube playing MLB The Show, a popular baseball video game. The livestream has now been removed, but in footage viewed by Dexerto, he called the incident a “tragic accident” and offered “condolences” to the families involved.
When his viewers turned on him and blamed him for the deaths of Maria and Isabella, he gave a serious warning.
“Threats against my family won’t be tolerated,” he said. “You’re opening Pandora’s box by getting family involved.”

Maria’s family and members of their community claim that the streamer had been stalking her for months before her death. According to information obtained by Fox, he did this by parking outside her house, repeatedly contacting her online and showing up at her school.

During the livestream after the death of Maria and Isabella, the suspect started criticising the way New Jersey handles mental health.
“The state is not doing right of addressing this mental health crisis,” he said.
“If you get bullied and ridiculed in school about stuff and people hate you, I would tell your counsellor immediately before it gets out of hand. You’ve got to address all these things because I’ll tell you what, the amount of bullying that I’ve been put through in the past has been absolutely absurd.”
The victim’s families have denied claims that the 17-year-old’s mental health is what caused the incident, telling Fox: “He is not insane, he is competent and meditated.”
