10 years after leaving TOWIE, here’s a vibey update on where Sam and Billie Faiers are now

It’s been 16 years since The Only Way Is Essex, aka TOWIE, started, and some of the OG cast members are absolutely thriving, including sisters Sam and Billie Faiers.

Sam was part of the original cast, starring in the first-ever episode, and Billie joined the show later in the first series, initially in a small, supporting role before becoming a main character. With their boutique Minnies and Sam’s on-and-off relationship with Joey Essex, they quickly became one of TOWIE’s most iconic cast members.

Billie just got announced as the new host of the TOWIE podcast, which feels like a major full-circle moment, but life is now very different for them both.

Sam Faiers owns a multi-million-pound business alongside mum life

Sam is now the owner of Revive Collagen, a skincare brand which she dedicates most of her time to. She launched the brand in August 2020, which is known for its drinkable liquid collagen sachets that fight ageing, and the brand now turns over approximately £25 million a year. Wow! She sells a box every 60 seconds and is always jetting off to launch the brand in new regions like America and Dubai. Oh, and the brand is endorsed by Amanda Holden, who’s now one of her besties.

When she’s not in work mode, Sam is renovating her home in Surrey, where she lives with her partner Paul Knightley and three children. Paul Jr is the oldest, 10, followed by Rosie, eight and Edward, four. Sam has been with Paul for 11 years, and he was a property developer when they met, but he now runs his own luxury lifestyle business.

The 35-year-old has a whopping 2.4 million followers on Instagram, where she often shares snippets of family life, business advice and everything in between, and she’s firmly swapped the fake tan and high heels for the classy, sophisticated look. Honestly, she looks insane.

Billie Faiers is also a full-time mum and successful businesswoman

Billie is a full-time mum to three kids too. She has Nelly, 12, Arthur, nine and Margot, three, who she shares with her husband Greg Shepherd. She was with Greg around the time that she first joined the cast of TOWIE, and they welcomed their daughter Nelly a few years later, in 2014. The pair got engaged in the Maldives in the same year, but didn’t get married until 2019, a huge celebration where they took all their nearest and dearest back to the Maldives.

The 36-year-old still runs her clothing brand Minnies Boutique, which has now moved online, and has regular kids clothing and homeware ranges with George at Asda. She also previously had collections with In The Style, and often does brand deals on Instagram, where she has over 2.5 million followers and often shares vibey outfit snaps and family holiday photos.

Sam and Billie used to have an ITV reality show for many years together called The Mummy Diaries, which documented their family lives. Sam quit in 2021 after nine series, and Billie carried on for a few more years, changing the name to The Family Diaries. She released six more series before ending the show in 2024. The pair then went on to host their own podcast together and released another ITV reality show in 2025 called Sam & Billie: Sister Act.
