Analysis video leaves ‘no more doubts’ about ‘most disturbing lead’ in Amy Bradley case

I don’t know what to think

A YouTube video diving into the Amy Bradley case has left people with “no more doubts” in certain leads surrounding the case. Nobody truly knows what happened to Amy when she went missing from a Royal Caribbean cruise in 1988, but there have been many theories and tips over the years.

One of the most talked about tips was a potential “sighting” of Amy on an adult website in 2005. The woman was called Jas, and the site was based in the Caribbean. The anonymous sender attached a link to the website, which showed sex workers for hire. At the time, an FBI analysis concluded that the woman in the photos was Amy, but the IP address for the site couldn’t be tracked. Nothing came of the tip off.

That, and many other theories, have been broken down in a YouTube video. Titled “Amy Bradley: The FBI’s Most Disturbing Lead Yet”, Crime Weekly addressed the case. Derrick Levasseur, one of the hosts, is a private investigator and former police officer.

People on Reddit have been discussing the video, and said the “professional analysis” in it left them with “no further doubts” in the case. They now believe Amy Bradley was *not* trafficked.

“No more doubts after this professional analysis,” a poster said in the AmyLynnBradley subreddit. They continued: “I used to believe Amy was trafficked. This analysis has removed all doubt.”

Some of the theories addressed in the video are quite out there and based on no evidence whatsoever. They theorise about Amy’s family, and their thoughts on Amy’s sexuality, which Brad Bradley has widely said the family had no problems with. But, the video does raise some interesting points about other theories.

“This could be a tragic accident, where nobody is responsible for her death,” Derrick noted. “I really think this was a tragic accident.” Derrick 100 per cent believes Ron – Amy Bradley’s father’s – timeline of when he saw Amy on the family cabin balcony. But what happened afterwards doesn’t add up in some other theories.

Interestingly, the hosts noted that there have been many previous crime stories where “sightings” came in of the person involved, but they had been dead the whole time. Very similarly, Natalee Holloway went missing in the same area as Amy. There were apparent sightings of her in Aruba, but later someone admitted to having already killed her.

So, this can discredit some “sightings” until they’re proven to be true. Nothing has come of anyone claiming they’ve seen Amy. it was also pointed out that all the “sightings” have been in very public areas such as beaches and department stores, which feels very public for supposed professional traffickers.

The video also addressed the “Jas photos”, and asked why traffickers would go to the extreme of hiding her tattoos in the pictures, yet remain comfortable posting her face.

The Reddit poster claimed: “The FBI said clearly there is no evidence Amy left the cabin. Seems pretty clear to me what they are trying to say. The more you delve into it the more ridiculous it seems [that Amy was trafficked].”

The Reddit is completely divided. Some say the analysis was “biased” whilst others found it really interesting. Either way, it’s another part of the conversation we can’t stop thinking about.
