New report reveals horrifying length of time Emilie Kiser’s son was drowning in the pool

It was a lot longer than Brady initially said

A new police report has revealed even more shocking details about Emilie Kiser’s son’s drowning, including how long he was in the swimming pool for.

Three-year-old Trigg drowned in their garden pool on 12th May while Emilie Kiser was out with friends, and died in hospital six days later. His dad Brady initially told police he lost sight of the toddler for three to five minutes.

However, CCTV footage of the incident reveals that he was outside alone “unsupervised for more than nine minutes” in total, and he was in the water for seven minutes of that time, the police report reveals.

“It is clear from the video that he did not go into the water intentionally, rather, he tripped and fell in while playing with an inflatable chair,” the report says. “[Trigg] was in the backyard from 18:29:42 hours until Brady found him in the pool at 18:39:00 hours. He was in the water from 18:32:15 until 18:39:07.

“It is clear Brady’s attention was divided, and he was not watching [Trigg] at all during the critical times mentioned. During two interviews he did not know what [Trigg] was doing before he fell in and did not see him struggling to swim.”

The report claims Brady’s statements “do not match what is seen on the video” and “he did not accurately describe [the incident]”.

When police arrived at the Arizona home, Trigg had already been pulled out of the swimming pool by his dad and was lying unconscious inside the home.

“As I entered into the residence, I observed a small male toddler lying motionless on the ground in between the couch and bar-stools in the living room. I would immediately run over to the toddler, who appeared to have a lack of color in his skin and unconscious,” the officer said.

“The toddler did not appear to be breathing,” they continued. “Upon reaching the toddler, I immediately began giving chest compressions to the toddler. The male on scene who let officers inside was extremely distraught.”

At the time, Brady told police: “I didn’t have a clock, obviously. I don’t know the exact time, but it was moments, it wasn’t minutes, it was moments, it wasn’t that he had been out of sight for long.”

An exact description of the CCTV footage has been redacted from the report after Emilie filed a lawsuit asking for its removal, to prevent people from making “disturbing” content surrounding their son’s death with AI.
