
What we know about the investigation into Emilie Kiser’s son’s death after tragic drowning
Police are exploring the ‘circumstances’
An investigation has been opened into influencer Emilie Kiser’s three-year-old son’s death after he drowned in their garden pool.
Trigg Kiser passed away in hospital six days after the incident, and tributes to the family are pouring in on social media.
This is all the information we have on the toddler’s heartbreaking death, the investigation and what the local police have said.
What happened to Emily Kiser’s son?
The Chandler Police Department in Arizona has revealed that Trigg was found unconscious after being pulled out of the Kiser’s family pool on the evening of Monday, 12th May.
Police officers arrived at the scene and paramedics performed CPR before the toddler was taken to Chandler Regional Hospital, and then moved to Phoenix Children’s Hospital for more care.
Two days later, on May 14th, the Chandler Fire Department told Arizona’s 12 News a three-year-old child was in a critical condition in hospital after drowning in a pool. This was then identified as three-year-old Trigg.
On 18th May, police confirmed to Us Weekly that Trigg had sadly passed away in hospital, six days after the incident occurred.
A police investigation was then opened
On 19th May, Chandler Police Department spokesperson Sonu Wasu told E! News that a police investigation into the pool drowning had been opened.
“Our thoughts and deepest condolences are with the child’s family and loved ones during this unimaginable time,” she said. “The investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident remain ongoing. This is still an open investigation.”
“Out of respect for the family’s privacy, we will not be releasing additional details until the investigation is closed,” the spokesperson continued.
