Right, so when is Lady Gaga actually appearing in Netflix’s Wednesday season two?

Her character was already teased in episode one, but I bet you missed it

Wednesday season one was no slouch, but come on, season two is set to be even better with Joanna Lumley, Billie Piper, and mother monster herself, Lady Gaga.

Already situated with an impressive 84 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes, the first part of Wednesday season two dropped on August 6. The first four Netflix episodes, which continue on from season one after the summer break, sees our beloved Wednesday find a new mystery amidst rising popularity, raging teen hormones, and the overwhelming urge to kill, kill, KILL!

However, and not to sound like a spoilt brat, where the hell is Lady Gaga? Before you make like Wednesday and grab your bag of pirahnas for Netflix executives, here’s what we know.

Who is she playing?

As we already know, Lady Gaga will be playing “the mysterious and enigmatic Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary Nevermore teacher who crosses paths with Wednesday.”

Because of the word “legendary”, and the fact that her name is on what appeared to be a gravestone, people have speculated that Lady Gaga’s character could be dead. We know Wednesday is on the hunt for another spirit guide after Goody, so maybe she’ll be getting some advice from mistress Mayhem herself.

Lady Gaga was notably absent from the first half of Wednesday season two, besides a look at Rotwood Cottage which is presumably named after her.

When will Lady Gaga show up in Wednesday season two?

Lady Gaga’s role in Wednesday had earlier been described in a “guest” capacity, so it’s proboably reasonable to assume that she won’t be some major chess piece going forward. However, considering she wasn’t in part one, Lady Gaga will proboably show up in part two on September 3.

*That* Lady Gaga song will be in part two

Following the unintentional success of Lady Gaga’s Bloody Mary in Wednesday season one, she has recorded a song called Dead Dance for season two. We don’t know a huge amount about the track, besides its loose ties to a Hocus Pocus vibe.

“She’s such an artist and so for me, working with an artist is inspirational,” Tim Burton earlier said, gassing Gaga up.

I need it NOW.
