Hold on, when is Love Island returning for 2025 and how long do we have to wait?
The wait is nearly over, thank goodness
The sun is out, suncream is on, and hay-fever pollen is in the air. Surely it can’t be long until Love Island is back on our screens?
Thankfully, the wait is nearly over. Here’s when Love Island is expected to be back.
When will Love Island be on again?
ITV confirmed in March that Love Island will be returning in summer 2025. What a relief. Maya Jama will be the host again. This will be the regular edition of Love Island, with (mostly) non-famous people heading to the villa in Mallorca. The second season of Love Island: All Stars wrapped in February, and ITV seems to have given up on the traditional winter version of the show for now.
With the exception of the summer 2021 series (which was delayed because of the pandemic), each summer series of Love Island since 2017 has begun on the first Monday in June. So, it seems pretty likely that Love Island will return for 2025 on Monday 2nd June.

ITV has confirmed the show will once again run for eight whole glorious weeks. If Love Island 2025 does start on Monday 2nd June, then the final would air on Monday 28th July.
There will be a special reunion show with iconic cast members
Can you believe that Love Island has been in our lives for ten whole years? It has been reported that a special throwback documentary about Love Island will air before the 2025 series starts, in celebration of the show’s tenth anniversary.
