Squid Game Front Man actor shut down three huge season three theories – what were they?
He’s going to give away the plot of season three at this rate
Squid Game and its mountain of plot theories seem to be all anyone’s talking about at the moment. Since Squid Game 2 came out, the hype for the third season is already off the charts. People have taken it upon themselves to try and guess what might happen in season three, but it’s currently all up in the air until next summer. However, we might have just been let in on a huge clue: Lee Byung-hun, who plays the Front Man in Squid Game, just shut down three huge theories about season three.
Lee Jung-jae who plays Gi-hun and the show’s creator Hwang Dong-hyuk appeared alongside the scary Squid Game Front Man to discuss all of the biggest season three theories. On First We Feast, or its better-known name Hot Ones, the trio took turns answering various questions about the show.
The theories were wild
Lee Jung-jae asked Lee Byung-hun a very intense question. It read: “Squid Game Season two ends with a cliffhanger. Fans are already speculating about the next season. Tell us which theory is true: The island is a ship, Oh Il-nam’s son is Gi-hun, or the Front Man is an undercover cop.”
What did the Front Man say?!
In response, the Front Man said, “To be honest, no one was right.” When asked to eat a chicken wing, he refused, saying it was not going to happen. The producer told him that he needed to eat it, to which Byung-hun responded, “So that means I spoil the ending of Season three? I mean, if that’s what you want, then I would choose to do that instead.”

Lee Jung-jae said, “If it were me, I would just eat a spicy wing and end it. Can you take a second look at your contract?” Later, Byung-hun laughed, “The ending of season three is that the Front Man, standing in front of your character, will take off his mask and say, ‘I am your father.’ I’m sorry about that.” One thing is for certain – the Front Man has a great sense of humour!
