Omg, this messy Love Islander from Callum and Molly’s season just got engaged
And it’s not to his villa girlfriend
Mike Boateng from season six of Love Island is engaged!
The 29-year-old was on the winter version of the show in 2020 alongside Callum and Molly, Paige and Finley and Luke and Siannise.
He left the villa with Priscilla Anyabu after hopping between his fair share of girls, and they were together for 15 months before splitting in July 2021.
Just three years later, he’s now popped the question to his mystery girlfriend who doesn’t appear to be in the limelight.
He announced the happy news on Instagram, sharing a picture of the pair holding hands on top of a plate that says in chocolate: “Will you marry me?”
Mike also posted a picture of them hugging at what looks like a rooftop restaurant and one of his new fiancé showing off her glistening diamond ring.
In the caption, he revealed that he got down on one knee on December 21 and shared a Bible verse: “Commit to the lord whatever you do and he will establish your plans.”
Loads of Love Islanders have congratulated them in the comments, including Liberty Poole, Toby Aromolaran and Kaz Kamwi.
After his stint on Love Island, Mike now works as a personal trainer and is signed to the modelling agency Oxygen Models.
The engagement comes just weeks after Molly and Zach from the 2023 series shocked everyone with a fake Instagram engagement.
He shared a picture of a ring on her finger on a plane and left people really surprised, but later revealed it was all a silly dare.

“So I recently lost a game of odds on,” he said as Molly chimed in: “I think my Pandora ring joke escalated a little too far.”
They aren’t the only Love Island couple who have faked an engagement either.
