Uma and Wil are the only ones left, here’s what went down with the Love Island 2024 couples
A car crash, that’s what
Right now, Uma and Wil from the most recent series of Love Island are the only couple who are still together. Look, I knew Love Island 2024 had a few shaky couples, but I wasn’t expecting this?!
Since the villa, there have been countless splits. Couples have been proclaiming their love one minute, and dropping Insta breakup statements the next. It really has been a whirlwind.
Here’s a rundown of all the mess that has gone down between the Love Island 2024 couples when they each broke up.
Harriett and Ronnie
Harriett and Ronnie were a bit of a mess after the villa. They broke up, got back together, and then broke up again. According to The Sun, a source revealed: “They tried to make it work outside the villa but both have been so busy since getting home they’ve not been able to dedicate enough time to it.”
Ronnie has since hinted he wants Harriett back, but she’s rumoured for All Stars. Yikes.
Grace and Reuben
Grace and Reuben called it a day after weeks of rumours they had split. Confirming the news, a source close to the former couple told The Sun: “Grace and Reuben have come to the mutual decision a romantic relationship isn’t right for either of them at this time. Grace wishes Reuben all the best and vice versa. They will remain friends and have no bad feelings towards each other. They have both been very busy since leaving the villa and the long distance has been difficult for both of them.”
Grace is now apparently dating England footballer, Marcus Rashford.

Matilda and Sean
Just one month after making it to the final of Love Island 2024, Sean and Matilda announced it was all over. They both shared Instagram story posts confirming the split. Matilda’s read: “Just wanted to come on here to tell you guys that Sean and I have decided to part ways.
“We are still good friends and I’m so grateful to have shared such an incredible experience with him. We appreciate all of your support throughout our time together and all the love you have shown us. Love you all.” She’s since moved on with a TOWIE cast member.
Jessy and Joey
Jessy and Joey lasted seven weeks outside the villa, before confirming they had ended things. Speaking to The Sun, Joey said: “Unfortunately, we have decided to call an end to the relationship but I hope we can continue to be friends. I truly wish Jessy the very best with whatever she does in the future.”
Jessy added: “I appreciate the Love Island experience I had with Joey, we tried to make it work but it wasn’t to be. I’m so grateful to everyone who supported us and look forward to all of the exciting opportunities ahead.”
Mimii and Josh
Just two months after winning Love Island, Mimii and Josh confirmed they had split up. Mimii confirmed the news on Instagram, and wrote a statement saying things hadn’t worked out.
“Hi everyone, I know that a lot of you have been wondering about Josh and I and why we haven’t been making appearances,” Mimii said. “The truth is we have been trying to figure it out since leaving the villa, but unfortunately things aren’t going to work out between us right now.
“I know it’s a big disappointment for a lot of you as it is for me too, your support for us hasn’t gone unnoticed and I will forever be grateful for it, you guys are the reason we made it to this point. God bless you all.”
Jess and Ayo
After three months, finalists Jess and Ayo also announced they had split. Rumours they had ended things started circling when it was noticed Ayo had deleted pictures of them together, and Jess was forced to comment on rumours she had cheated on him. Jess then confirmed the news it was all over, by replying to a fan “we’re not together” when they made a comment about Ayo.
It’s since become a bit of a messy back and forth on socials with these two, but like Matilda, Jess is dating someone from TOWIE now.
Nicole and Ciaran
Love Island 2024 finalists Nicole and Ciaran split up, just days after defending their relationship. Despite telling The Tab “they are very much a couple”, just a week later they said it was over.
In a statement sent to The Tab in December 2024, reps clarified: “Over the last couple of days Nicole and Ciaran have made the mutual decision to part ways. They have left the relationship on amicable terms, and will remain good friends going forward.”
