A closer look at Zaina’s QR code nail trick which outsmarted J.R. at The Ultimatum reunion
This girl is a GENIUS
The Ultimatum season three reunion brought, drama, arguments, and Zaina’s WILD QR code nail. Zaina was an absolute genius when she whipped out receipts which showed conversations between her and J.R. regarding what Scotty had said at Boy’s Night in one of the previous episodes.
There was nowhere to hide when she asked if hosts Nick and Vanessa Lachey had their phones around, and lifted up a perfectly manicured finger with a QR code painted on it. She told Nick and Vanessa to, get this, SCAN HER FINGER, which opened up a file of text message screenshots between J.R. and Zaina. There was nothing to say. It was monumental and quite possibly the best thing anyone has ever done at a reunion show.
A closer look at the nail

As you can see in this averagely-timed screenshot, Zaina’s left index fingernail has a dark black square marking engraved in it. She held up her nail to Nick and Vanessa as though she was shushing them, meaning the QR code was on the inside of her nail rather than on the top part.

Furthermore, Zaina posted a few photos of her all dressed up in her reunion outfit from the day of filming, but if you take a closer look you can see a strange detail about the QR code nail. The nail seems to have two backs, as if one is a normal manicured nail and the other is a removable one. Could that be Zaina’s attempt at switching out her nails or using a false one to hide the QR code nail at first, or has The Ultimatum season three reunion just made me go crazy? Who knows.
