Lee Dixon dropped from Union lineup, no one cares

Morgan Freeman relegates Dixon to the bench

Lee Dixon Union

Football pundit Lee Dixon was scheduled to speak at the Union tonight – but has been dropped in favour of the acting icon Morgan Freeman after a double booking.

The former Arsenal player announced his absence on Twitter earlier today.

He said: “They’ve double booked!! Morgan Freeman is off the bench and Dixon is off!!!”

17 RTs, very impressive

Did you see the ludicrous display last night?

He followed up with another quip: “The legend that is Morgan Freeman is doing his stretches. Dixon looks over at the bench nervously. He see’s the No2 go up. He’s off. Gutted”.

Bit desperate

Members weren’t particularly dismayed by Lee’s absence, despite the fact he used to play for England.

“He’s a bit of an unfunny bellend,” said one fresher queuing for Freeman’s talk. “And he’s definitely not Morgan Freeman,” said another.

Even his fans say he’s unwanted

It is unknown whether Dixon will return to the Union in future. It is also unknown whether anyone cares.
