Football fans know about Jose Mourinho’s constant battle with the referees and fourth officials.
However, nobody seems to talk about Chris Jones, one of Mourinho’s fitness coaches.
Jones left Loughborough with a degree in Sports and Exercise Science and worked for Fulham FC for three years before moving up the road to Stamford Bridge in 2006 where he assumed the role of first team fitness coach.
Jones played a good standard of football himself including turning out for England U18s before becoming a fitness coach.
Luff graduate, Jones, was recently named in an article by Mail Online as one of Mourinho’s key dugout men.
