Was Raygun’s abysmal performance reason breakdancing has been axed from 2028 Olympics?
Petition to bring her back for the next opening ceremony
After the, let’s be honest, pretty disastrous breakdancing performance of Raygun during the Paris Olympics, it might not come as a huge surprise that the sport, known as Breaking, has been axed from the 2028 LA Olympics.
But, is Raygun really to blame for breakdancing being cut out of the programme for the next Olympics, or is there something else going on?

Well, it turns out that no it’s not because of Raygun’s performance that Olympic officials decided to not have the sport at the next games. Instead, they actually decided what would and wouldn’t make the cut before the Paris Olympics even started.
Raygun has since commented on her thoughts on the iconic sport not returning in 2028, saying: “It was disappointing it was decided that it wouldn’t be in LA, particularly before we even had a chance to show it. That was possibly a little premature. I wonder if they’re kicking themselves now?
“What is an Olympic sport? What are the similarities between dressage and artistic swimming and the 100m sprint and the pentathlon? Breaking is clearly athletic, it clearly requires a whole level of dedication across a number of different aspects. It’s really bringing a new level of excitement.”
All I want is to see Raygun perform again, is that too much to ask?!
