Man arrested for attempted murder after pedestrians were targeted in Stokes Croft
A man has been arrested after three pedestrians were hit by a car.

On 9th August, Avon and Somerset Police arrested a man after three pedestrians were hit by a car in Stokes Croft at 6.30 AM.
The driver of the car has been arrested for attempted murder and dangerous driving.
One person was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and the other two people involved were not seriously harmed.
Best Off License in Stokes Croft was also damaged in the crash.

Several roads in the area were closed while police investigate the incident, blocking off Thomas Street, Hepburn Road, Stokes Croft and City Road.
Bristol Supt Matt Ebbs said: “We would like to assure the public we do not believe there to be any wider threat.
“Anybody with concerns is welcome to speak to officers on the ground, but we would also appeal to anybody with CCTV, dashcam or mobile phone footage which may assist our enquiries to contact us.”
As of 15:00, the roads were reopened.
